Cavernous Sinus Thrombosis Symptoms
Symptoms of cavernous sinus thrombosis include:
- Headache
- Eye pain:
- Pain worsens with eye movement
- Vision impairment:
- Facial swelling
- Swelling around one eye
- Progresses to the other eye
- Swelling of the whites of the eyes
More advanced symptoms of cavernous sinus thrombosis may include:
- Neck pain
- When flexing the neck
- Fever

- Lethargy
- A condition of excessive sleepiness or drowsiness
- Confusion
- Coma
