Cast and Splint Problems Home Care: Warning Signs
Notify your doctor if you have cast and splint problems and any of the following:
  • Pale skin in the fingers or toes
  • Poor capillary refill to the fingers or toes Images
  • Worsening pain beneath the cast
  • Worsening numbness in the fingers or toes
  • Worsening swelling of the foot or hand
