Home care for cancer may include:
  • Drink plenty of liquids.
  • Follow a cancer diet:
    • Good nutritious diet
    • Avoid being underweight or overweight
  • Follow an exercise plan developed with your doctor.
  • Take prescribed medications as directed.
    • Watch for drug interactions
    • Drug interactions can also occur with vitamins, foods, and some nonprescription drugs
