Treatment for mesothelioma depends on the stage (spread) of the cancer. Treatment often includes a combination of surgery (to remove the tumor), chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
Treatment options for mesothelioma include:
- Surgery for mesothelioma:

- The administration of medicines that kill cancer cells.
