Callus Underlying Cause
Calluses and corns are caused by persistent pressure, or friction, that is applied the surface of the skin.
Causes of persistent pressure or friction include:
- Shoes that fit poorly
- Wearing shoes without socks
- Thin socks
- High heels
- Repetitive activities that involve the feet:
