Bulge in the Belly Button Symptoms

Symptoms of an umbilical hernia include:

  • Bulge or knot under the skin near the umbilicus
    • Bulge usually increases in size with lifting, laughing, straining, or coughing
    • Bulge may be pushed back into the abdomen
