  • Avoid sedative medications.
  • Avoid substances that trigger wheezing.
  • Drink plenty of liquids to remain hydrated.
  • Place a vaporizer or nebulizer in the bedroom at night.
Home care for children who take medication for wheezing includes:
  • Learn to use prescribed inhalers correctly. Images
