Complications of nasal bone fractures include:

  • Fracture of the cribriform plate
  • Nasal airflow obstruction
  • Other facial bone fractures:
    • Fracture of the orbit
    • Fracture of the maxilla
  • Permanent nasal deformity
  • Septal hematoma:
    • A blood clot in the wall that separates the two sides of the nose
