Symptoms of a breast abscess include:

Breast lump:

Filled with fluid
May be soft or firm
Pus may drain from the lump
Skin may be dimpled over the lump

Breast pain:

Lump under the skin is painful

Nipple retraction:

The nipple may be flattened or drawn into the skin

Breast swelling
Breast tenderness
Breast redness
Fever
