Blood disease is a very general term that represents a wide range of disorders that can disturb blood cell function. What are the symptoms of a blood disease?
Symptoms of a blood disease depend on the underlying disorder and cell type that is affected. Red blood cell disease can cause symptoms of anemia. White blood cell disease can diminish the effectiveness of the immune system, leading to repeated infections. Platelet disease can lead to excessive bleeding and excessive bruising.
