What is bladder cancer?
A person with bladder cancer has a growth of abnormal cells in the bladder that multiply out of control. These cells can form tumors and spread to other parts of the body. Bladder cancer is most common in people over 50 years old. Cancer of the bladder is one of the four most common cancers in men. The underlying cause of bladder cancer is unknown, but genetics may play a role in determining risk. Images
