What to expect with Bell's palsy:
  • Bell's palsy symptoms usually peak within 2-7 days, and then improve over 2 weeks.
  • Approximately 4 to 5% of people experience permanent weakness on one side of the face.
  • About 70 percent of those who have Bell's palsy completely recover.
