Basilar Migraine Symptoms
A basilar migraine headache is usually preceded by at least two of the following symptoms:
- Visual changes
- Slurred speech
- Vertigo
- Ringing in the ears
- Difficulty with balance
- Decreased hearing
- Double vision
- Bilateral numbness and tingling
- Decreased levels of consciousness
Symptoms of basilar migraine include:
- Severe headache, usually on one side of the head
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Sensitivity to bright light
- Sensitivity to loud noises
- Visual change or aura:
- Flashing lights
- Seeing spots
- Floaters
