Basal Cell Carcinoma Symptoms
Symptoms of basal cell carcinoma include:
- Skin lesion:
- Red to brown bumps on the skin surface
- May form a flat, scaly, brown patch on the skin
Other characteristics of a basal cell carcinoma skin lesion include:
- The skin lesions may form skin ulcers:
- Shallow craters that bleed easily
- Pearly border around the skin lesion
- Tangles of small blood vessels may be visible within the skin lesion
