Seek emergency care immediately if you have atherosclerosis and any of the following:

Chest pain
Hand or foot suddenly turns blue or gray
Sudden difficulty with balance
Sudden difficulty with speech
Sudden loss of vision
Sudden severe pain in your arm or leg
Sudden weakness on one side of the body or face

Notify your doctor for:

Difficulty breathing during exertion
Impotence
Worsening pain in the legs when walking
Numbness or tingling in your hands or feet
