Arm Pain Home Care: Warning Signs
Notify your doctor if you have arm pain and any of the following:
  • Arm pain with:
  • Inability to use the arm
  • Inability to move the arm
  • Severe arm pain
  • Severe arm swelling
  • Tenderness over the bones of the arm
  • Worsening arm pain
  • Worsening arm tenderness
  • Pain that does not improve over three days
  • Signs of infection:
    • Yellow or green discharge from a wound
    • Fever Videos
    • Chills
    • Worsening skin redness and swelling around a wound Images
    • Red streaks spreading from a wound Images
