Anthrax Symptoms: Intestinal Anthrax
Symptoms from ingested anthrax usually start 2-5 days after eating infected animal meat. When the bacteria infect the throat, a severe sore throat occurs first. This is followed by a high fever and swelling of the neck. The infection may also spread to the intestines.
