Physical findings in those with allergic reactions may include:

• Adults
• Facial swelling
• Low blood pressure
• Rapid pulse
• Red eyes
• Runny nose
• Increased tearing
• Wheezing

Usually, testing is not necessary to make the diagnosis of allergic reactions.

Tests that may be used to evaluate allergic reactions include:

• Serum immunoglobulins
• Eosinophil count
• Neck x-ray
• Allergy skin testing
• Skin biopsy
