Acne Rosacea Evaluation
The evaluation of acne rosacea begins with a history and a physical examination.

Physical findings in those with acne rosacea on the face include:
  • Skin redness Images
  • Pimples
  • Pustules
  • Telangiectasias
Tests are usually not required to make the diagnosis of acne rosacea.

Tests that may be used to evaluate acne rosacea include:
  • Skin biopsy
    • May be performed in cases where the diagnosis is uncertain.
