What is anorexia?
A person with anorexia has lost his or her appetite. Anorexia is most commonly associated with colds, gastroenteritis, or influenza. Persistent anorexia can be a sign of another underlying illness. Anorexia is not the same as anorexia nervosa, which is an eating disorder.

What are the symptoms of anorexia?
Symptoms of anorexia include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, lymph gland swelling, weakness, fatigue, and fever.

Treatment for anorexia depends on the underlying cause.
